Our Story
Henna bloom was created with a vision in mind, to make quality, custom products for bakers. The idea was birthed simply by the lack of availability for custom designs. As a baker myself I could never find quite the right design that my customers were looking for. So I told my husband, “why don’t you try making it yourself?”. And our journey began. With my baking expertise and my husbands technical and hands on experience we embarked on an intensive journey to understand what the needs are, how we can provide value in this market and how we can be produce the highest quality product with the quickest turn around for our customers. Long stressful hours spent on learning how to design, how to master a 3D printer and laser, how to make our own website, how to take our own professional photos and how to spread the word to all of you!
So who is behind Henna Bloom? My name is Carla and I am the one who calls all the shots, I have the baking experience and know what works and doesn’t work. My husband, Jonathan, is the one who makes all the magic work. He has experience with everything IT related and has the creative touch. Then we have our little daughter Esther, who is the star of the show. She is the quality control, if the cookie cutter can withstand her destruction then it can withstand anything.
